Adding properties

All data objects in the application have an association with properties. For example, a grid object has a porosity property, a polyline set has a dip property, a well has a gamma ray log, and a seismic volume has a seismic amplitude property.

You can give objects additional properties using:

The Property Calculator under the Tools button (Workspace > Tools > Property Calculator)

Property Tool (Workspace > Tools > Property Tool) with the functions created from the Function Tool

Property mapping tools (modeling > Facies > Property Mapping or modeling > Rock Properties > Property Mapping) and the Property Mapping Tool under the Workspace > Tools.

Workflow automation (Old) There are common calculator operation templates you can use to edit and create individual properties. (Workspace > Tools > Workflow Automation (Old))

The Create option in the context menu of some of the objects.

The Graphical editing tools (individual properties can be selected for editing of the value and parameters of the property).
